Update on Georgia and Tennessee trip

Hello to all!   I am sorry for taking so long to post.   I have been sick which started out with a common cold and then ended up with HB1. I am hoping that everyone was able to avoid getting sick this winter. I did go to Helen, Georgia, last fall.   I accidentally went to one of the state parks during the hunting season.  Therefore, I did not get any images that I wanted around Helen, Georgia. I should have looked at the hunting season dates beforehand; and, that is a lesson learned of course. I did get some images from both Georgia and Tennessee and I am not too thrilled with. I have learned one thing.   No matter how much planning you do things can go wrong at times. We did meet several friendly people that just loved seeing our great-grandsons whom we had with us in a few of the State Parks in Tennessee.  For instance, Falls Creek Falls State Park and Rock Island State Park, which are both in some ways close together.   They are about 4 hours and 38 minutes apart, which is not that bad of a drive. We did run into rain going to Rock Island State Park, Tennessee, but it was worth it to see the waterfall there. Like I said earlier, the images I feel did not come out that great were from these two areas of Tennessee. My wife and I are working on some details of going back out east this year and we are planning on going to Savannah, Georgia and maybe down to Florida for some coastal images. More details will come later about this trip. Time is getting close for me to be heading to Panther Creek Trail Ride and campgrounds and I am looking forward to seeing new people and seeing the great folks I have had the pleasure of meeting last year.

Another trip to Georgia and Tennessee.

Hello to everyone! I am sorry for not posting anything new on my blog since the last post. I have been busy with work that is slowly, but surely, will come to an end so that I can concentrate more on my photography. We did make it to Helen, Georgia and to Tennessee the last time, and we are going back there very shortly. Let’s just say October 17, 2019 and this time I will be able to photograph some of the areas around Helen and then onto Tennessee to get some more shots and to re-shoot some of the areas I felt could have been much better.  My wife and I will be taking our two youngest great grand babies with us and I am hoping that they will have a blast on this trip with us. I will try to do a much better job of keeping you all up to date with new information on our travels. I am still using the Sony A7 and I have enjoyed using this camera for landscape and wildlife. The Sony has proven to do great with Equestrian photography as well. Yes, I do photograph horses and mules.  To me, this falls into nature photography. As I said. I will keep everybody up to date as soon as I can. Thank you all for visiting WC Nature Photography.

Tennessee and Helen, GA trip.

Hello to everyone! I have an update on the trip to Tennessee in October. We will be leaving on October 25, but the first stop will be in Helen, GA; and, then backtrack to the areas I will be photographing in Tennessee. I will post the images of Helen, Ga within the blog. I will keep everyone posted with more when the time comes. I will be using my Sony A7 during this trip.
